The Balanced K9

Dog Training

What is balanced training?

In simplest terms, or should I say, in my terms...

I use “pressure”-- whether with the leash or body (spatial) pressure in my training. I am also trained and open to the use of other tools, such as e-collars and prong collars.

I use a mixture of positive reinforcement and aversive techniques. However, I’m always fair and compassionate with the dogs I work with. I will never force a dog to do something he or she doesn’t want to do. My goal is to give the dog and owner the BEST chance at a balanced, happy and healthy life!
